Severe Weather Awareness Week 2017

Clay County Emergency Management will be participating in the Statewide Tornado Drill on April 26, 2017. This drill is part of Severe Weather Awareness Week sponsored by the National Weather Service.

The drill is intended to test the warning systems in the County and your participation is encouraged. It is a great opportunity to practice your sheltering plans at work or home. In the past, the schools systems, assisted living and other organizations have used this time to get ready for the upcoming season. Below is the timeline for the drill and a link to our Severe Weather Page. If you have questions please contact Layne Stewart.
